Perhaps calling this a flood is a bit of an exaggeration. However, it was very difficult to cross the streets in Florentin and stay dry during the rainstorms last week. This is the view from my apartment window! The great thing about the downpour was that it washed away all the dog crap. Yes, my neighborhood has many fantastic bars, cafés, and restaurants—and also a lot of people who do not pick-up after their pets!

TEL AVIV Flood
Perhaps calling this a flood is a bit of an exaggeration. However, it was very difficult to cross the streets in Florentin and stay dry during the rainstorms last week. This is the view from my apartment window! The great thing about the downpour was that it washed away all the dog crap. Yes, my neighborhood has many fantastic bars, cafés, and restaurants—and also a lot of people who do not pick-up after their pets!

The orange and green of the construction does a good job of livening up the dreary grey of the building
True Claire. That picture really does not do the neighborhood justice however. Yes, many of the buildings are a bit dreary, but the ground floor is a lively mix of uses--not just huge trash recepticals!
Is the poop easier to avoid when the street is dry or wet? Seems like dry would be better - more of a color contrast...
